Skills
Being a neurodivergent woman of color and a child of immigrants has heavily impacted JJ’s design process. She strives to create and advocate for beautiful AND accessible designs.
Working with the Society of Gynecologic Oncology for 7 years has only further impacted her. The graphics she created were used and viewed by members, health advocates, caregivers and gynecologic oncology patients, many of whom are older and very ill. Through designing for this audience, she learned the importance of keeping universal design principles at the forefront of her design process.
